I don't know but according to some ThinkSecret article, apple is planning on selling a lot of these things. IMO, if they are trying to make this popular, they need to market this better.
Personally, the only time i had ever thought about buying this is when i was waiting a while at a genius bar but i decided not to do it. It really doesn't seem like that amazing of a plan or idea.
