Just got the August 2002 MacWorld. Sonnet has an Ad in it for an Encore ST/G4 800 and 1000 Mhz card for G4 ACP graphics and an 800 Mhz Crescendo /PCI G4 card for PCI machines. SO Aquatik, you should get your wish. Of course Sonnet's site has no info on them so I assume they'll officially launch at MacWorld.
Hey Bob, do they say anything about Cube compatibility for those AGP cards? Cos i'd much rather get a Sonnet card for my Cube than Powerlogix, they have a bad rep.... What about the L3 cache? Was it mentioned? Thanx
PowerLogix is really on the ball, hopefully Sonnet will be too, and maybe when they release new upgrades, the old G4 ones will get cheap. Maybe a 500mhz G4 ZIF for my Smurf tower for $149 or $199?
