Microsoft stealing more icons?

I was reading an Ars Technica article about MS's new 'live.com' page. But when the live.com page was loading, an animated image of a circle with dots was used to show it was loading. if it had lines it would be the Mac 'loading' animated icon. This is on top of the music library icon in Vista being so like the iTunes one.

come on Steve, smack MS before it's too late.

Well, funnily enough, Icon Factory (famous Icon company) made all the icons for WinXP. So, again, it was a Mac-centric company that has "designed" the feel for one of the most diffused OSes out there. www.iconfactory.com to see their work and download some great icons..

Uh... Firefox uses a circle of dots to show that it's loading, sure you weren't using firefox to load the page and you got a bit confused about what was the page and what was the browser?

EDIT: I just went to live.com, and if they're ripping anybody off, it's Firefox, not Apple.

And besides, a rotating circle has been pretty ubiquitous for loading or progress since radar was invented.

The Gnome desktop environment also uses the circle with dots animation.
