beachball problem

Lately I have been getting the beach ball about when navigating my mac. It will happen once every 1 or 2 minutes and will hang my mac up for about 5 to 10 seconds. Is there a utility out there that will help me? I think something is hoggin up resources. Could it be a virus? Other than that, nothing unusual happening.

    Firefox was the cause of this. I switched to OmniWeb and everything is fine now.



    BTW, I really like what I see in OmniWeb. I may just have to dish out the $29 bucks at the end of the demo period.
