1.2Ghz G4 iBook and 20" Widescreen LCD?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this....



I've got the G4 ibook, and want to know if it will support an external display (as primary display not extended) at 1680x1050 20" wide screen.



In the display prefs (tiger os) it only lists external displays with up to 1024x768....



Has anyone done this?

    Well yeah, you're mirroring. You can't mirror 1024x768 and 1680x1050. You would have to do the screen-spanning hack.
