Image Thumbnails
Hi,
I would like a script or program that will let me choose a folder and generate thumbnails of all the images contained inside.
I know i can open the image in photoshop and save it and have a thumbnail generated but for the amount of images i have this isn't really an option. I know i could make a photoshop action to do this but it seems similar to using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Does anybody know of any scripts/small programs that will let me do this?
Thanks

Also you could use the Web Photo Gallery auto script and discard everything but the resized pictures.
I know i could use the column view but when you create a new folder it defaults to icon view.
And yes i could use a photoshop action to open all the images and save them so it generates the thumbnail but this seems a bit much and really isn't an ideal solution because i would have to let the computer open all the images.
Windows does this on the fly, surely there is something out there on the mac that will let me do it.
Thanks

Sorry i don't think i made my intention clear enough. I don't want to resize all my images, i want to have them show up instead of the jpg icon when i'm looking at files in icon view.

Use GraphicConverter's "Convert and Modify" menu item - set it to "Create Icon/Preview".

Come on guys. Let's see a little initiative here! Click on desktop. Check out your menus. (Clue:View)
You do know that OS X has a 'Help" application?
What piot said.
