best on-line forum to get Mac tech questions answered...

the first hurdle is getting a response. the second one is getting a correct response. The third hurdle: getting questions answered quickly.

I've been a partisan of XLR8YOURMAC.com for years. Don't know why, maybe MacFixit was too intimidating (too many choices) and I only use AI for speculation. I'm trying to broaden my horizons, hence the questions.

I wouldn't necessarily vote for XLR8YOURMAC.com for quick responses, but they're usually accurate. (If you can catch someone's interest.)

I suspect the people on Ars Technica are the most tech savvy, again, will they answer your stupid OS X navigation question?

actually, you should check out the genius bar of this forum and perhaps the same forum on forums.applenova.com... Response is generally quick and accurate...

I just finished a rather lengthy tech support question that started in a forum like this and moved to AIM.

I should be doing finals right now though...

    Damn this procrastination!

Take a look at this site , this is an amazing place,

people there are pretty helpful, not that

picky as at ARS, and not that saucy as

at AI, if you know what i mean.

There's always Mac NN which is good, just due to sheer size, even if it's overly prone to bickering.

osXhints is great for seriously geeky stuff.

& I'll pimp a new startup that so far has the best S/N ratio of any of them.
