AirBerlin

Yes, My local airport just got a new low cost carrier to most of Europe. And since they have their hub in, yes, Berlin, my favorite city, I am interested in knownign if they are any good.



So anyone tried them? How do they compare to Easyjet, if you tried them as well?

    German Wikipedia only mentions regarding criticism that they apparently try and avoid labor unions.



    No comments regarding customer service, quality, etc. are made.

    Personally, I did not fly with them. But my neighbour flies to Vienna all the time, and AirBerlin is his favorite air line. Fair prices, good service, everything seems to be OK.



    When I flew the last time, I thought about AirBerlin, but they were too expensive for the dates I was looking for. But they seem to be fine, try them.



    Don't fly Swiss if you can avoid it. I had a flight to Barcelona this weekend, and service was terrible.
