well, im gonna go to bed, ive looked in different places to see something. the store is the same, the ipod pages are the same, and i kept refreshing the page. ill see what happens when the sun is up
At the very least I expected a celebratory Apple homepage.
I think something is up, but who knows. Maybe Steve gave everybody and day off and he's sleeping in. Or maybe they are releasing something legitimate and it's so freaking mind-blowingly amazing that if it were to be announced today our pitiful man-brains would only be able to comprehend it as an April Fools joke and no one would buy it and Apple would go out of business forcing thousands to commit suicide [legitimately or the "switching to windows" variety].
If I had to hazard a guess to what this product is, it would probably contain the words "Laser," "Ninja," "i," "Sex," "Perpetual Motion," and "Free Candy."
I have a few shares which is fine...it would make me nervous
to have more though...seems like the stock price is already based on apple doing everything perfect, if they flub anything at all up it takes a nose dive, I think the only thing not figured into the price is that they possbly could start making significant inroads on pc market share, if they do then the sky is the limit...if not then I figure the stack will continue to bounce between 50 and 100 and then maybe go even lower if any one starts taking mp3 market share.

I agree....it's been way to quite...like the calm before a storm. I have a feeling that something great is coming...
perhaps something monday or tuesday...
perhaps they think the press will trumpet their anniversary enough (and they have no new goodies to unleash)?
or will they wait a year to release a TAM?
Imagine millions of Mac users, all surrounding the Apple Campus, waiting?
We could call it the Million Mac March?!
