Power Plug Networking?

What is the exact name for this "technology"?



I don't want to trawl CAT 5 cables all over my house so I am looking for the Power Plug Ethernet Plugs so I can have a connection to my router from anywhere there is a Power Plug and the relevant adapter - who makes the best ones?

    Also, A "Game Adapter" apparently will work over WiFi for me - I have a Slingbox and a Wired Router here and I am trying to get the Slingbox upstairs despite a lack of a Cat 5 Hub Upstairs - I thought Power Line networking was the only answer but apparently the Wireless efforts will work!
