ibook and osx 10.2

being somewhat disappointed that laptops were not upgraded, does anyone have an opinion on whether or not the ibook 700 be noticeably faster under osx 10.2? also since i can't wait any longer, what are opinions on which will hold its value better in six months? (percentage)

I was on an IRC chat last night with a lot of people that had ran it on an iBook 700, and everyone of them stated that it was SUBSTANTIALLY faster. They said that everything was quicker in the OS, and that it just makes the iBook a whole newer and faster system. I know i'll being upgrading my iBook 700 to Jag when the time comes...

sure hope Jaguar makes my iBook 500 faster.

I'm wondering if it will even run under it; certainly a goodly number of the super features will be limited by the Video caps. What about G3 PB 500 firewire? Anyone? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

Well it'll definately run on it. Who knows how good, but it'll run.

Can't be run at all on a PB G3.

At least according to Apple.com/macosx

Quartz Extreme won't work, but Jaguaar itself will run on it. He's got a Pismo. The original PB G3s aren't supported by OS X though.
