  If you go to the Apple Store at <a href="http://www.apple.com/store"; target="_blank">http://www.apple.com/store</a>; and go through the motions to order a 17" iMac, you'll see at the order summary how long they expect for it to take.

  2-4 weeks, placed an order yesterday for one.

  I ordered one a few hours after the keynote, got 2-4 weeks also as a delievery time. Took them one day to bump my order up to being assembled.
