Damn... I'm still wondering if the crucial ram is worth the extra $29 over the 1GB stick from DMS memory.

Has anyone actually had an issue with either in their intel mac?

Hynix, Samsung and Micron (Crucial) are the parts that Apple fit to the current machines.

You can't go wrong with any of them. I personally always go for Micron (Crucial).

Yeah, you could go to macsales.com and spend $118 per 1GB for rebranded RAM, or you could just go to Newegg and get them for $89. But hey, if you want to perpetuate the myth that "macs use special/different RAM", while spending $30 more per stick, go ahead...

by the way, my 20" iMac Core Duo came with Nanya RAM. Yeah, I've never heard of Nanya either. But I threw in two of the 1GB SODIMMS linked above, and it flies.
