Good image! There seems to be a greenish hue in the darks that seems a bit unusual.
If you speak of the greenish hue in the neck, it's a noise issue. I did not apply any noise reduction filter on this pic. Remember that it was performed at 3200 iso.
Nice shot. One of the many great features of digital SLRs is the ability to change ISO on the fly. I have made images I never would have made with film simply because I was able to buy a little light by increasing the ISO. When afield, I routinely move between 200 and 400 with little effect on image quality.
How do you like that 5D? Back to the full-frame world.
I still have my 20 D and I daily use it at my office. The 20 D is still a great camera, the proof is that the 30 D has the same sensor and same digic 2 chip ( a little faster it seems). So canon think that IQ wise, the 20 D was perfect and it's true.
However the 5D add the joy of using a FF camera. On this camera you re-discover all your lens. My 24-70 is no more a 38-112, and my 17-40 is really wide at 17. The cons it that for tele shot your 300 mm is no more a 480 mm.
IQ wise the 5D is second to none except the 1dsmark2 (and only if you have good post processing skills), and is the king of low light condition shots.
Here is one at 1600 isos. The fans of saxo will recocnize Johnny Griffins aka the Little giant :
With a 5D you can make nice A3 prints at 1600 isos. At other settings you can even make nice 50 per 75 m posters. The bokey are very smooth also, but if you print A4 it's a waste of money.

It's funny, I never really thought about that too much, but I can see what you are saying. I shoot a lot of natural light high ISO stuff and I almost feel like it gives this camera a particular character.

You have a great lens to get F2 in that light. Mine camera would freak out and I would have to switch to manual focus.
Did you keep your 20D? or did you sell and upgrade to the 5D?
I will say that I love my 20D and that Canon DSLR's are really a piece of technology to behold!

It's funny, I never really thought about that too much, but I can see what you are saying. I shoot a lot of natural light high ISO stuff and I almost feel like it gives this camera a particular character.
