Moved: Windows iPods, selling??

I have heard absolutely nothing about the new windows version of the iPod. Does anyone know if it is selling well? Are there any Windows users out there who have got one?

I think it would be interesting to discuss the reaction to this product on the other side. This thread could also discuss the future possibility of a x86 release of OS X or other window releases of Apple software. Remember Apple is now fighting back!! In time.

I really doubt there's a hardware difference other than the fact that you get an additional cable with the Windows iPod, heh.

Any difference will be firmware and we're all pretty unclear on the interoperability between a Windows iPod and a Macintosh.

We know the Mac iPod will work with MediaFour's XPlay. If the Windows iPod doesn't sync with iTunes, then someone should be able to make an OSXPlay or something.

XPlay looks a bit better than MusicMatch, but it also costs money.
