Hi all,
here's a little question:
Is there a way to protect external hd (FireWire and USB2) with a password ?
Can os 10.4 do it or should i search for third party software ?
thanks
Nico

Create a disk image in Disk Utility (Applications->Utilities).
You can require a password to open a disk image.
I use them all the time in college when I need to store files on a public server.
