Can somebody please check to see if Apple screwed up on the thermal paste application on the Macbook like they did on the Macbook pro?
I want a black one badly, but I trust my crap-scraping skills enough to modify the processor cooling.

on one of the "take apart" sites someone has disassembled a macbook and it seems to be applied pretty well. thin and evenly.

In any case, if there are problems, the dissassembly on this case appears substantially easier than the Macbook Pro. For one thing, you don't have to take the logic board out in order to get at the heat sink.

Looks like the thermal paste is applied well. Nonetheless there are reports that the MacBook gets quite hot.
