Equipped with Superdrives look like a right bargain.

The top model also received a 100MHz speed increase as well as a larger (60GB) HD. Unfortunately, the 'SuperDrive' model is the only one with these updated specs but I have no use for a SuperDrive. It's slow and it cripples the CDRW speed as well. I would buy it with a 32X DVD/CDRW combo drive in a heartbeat.

Well, you don't have a use, don't buy it! I'm sure some people will...

[ 08-13-2002: Message edited by: Overhope ]</strong><hr></blockquote>Well, that's my point. I would like an 800MHz eMac with a 60GB HD and a nice and fast Combo Drive - but I can't buy one. The low end just doesn't cut it for me. I wouldn't mind the SuperDrive feature if it burned CDs fast.

The superdrive eMac is going to take away lots of superdrive iMac's sales

Now there's even less reasons to buy an iMac over an eMac.
