WANTED: Aperture Pro Business features
Here is a feature I would really like in Aperture:
Export gallery to website where the three sizes of the photos are uploaded: thumbnail, the size to be viewed in the gallery, and a full resolution size.
Now getting to the main part of the feature, the gallery would utilize the thumbnail and gallery-size for viewing of photos, and a shopping cart and checkout module would be includded within the gallery. The user sets the prices, apple prints the items at wholesale value, ships them to the customer, and takes 10-15% commision.
A few other services do this online, but many of them are flawed/not well integrated.

A Gallery2 install does all the resixeing and things like that you want.

Kind of along the same lines, but I want a Gallery2 export option/plugin. Aperture's organization with albums or smart albums makes this a potentially simple but wicked feature. There is a plugin that works with iPhoto so who knows...

I am currently testing out Gallery2. I can't find a way to only DISPLAY a low quaity picture but when ordered through a photo fullfilment service (e.g. digibug) to maintain the high resolution photo. I also don't like digibug's kicking customers out of my site to theirs to complete a transaction. I've look at other photo fullfilment services, and so far, none are great. Some charge for storage, a rip-off, some don't integrate into my own website well, etc. I contacted EZprints because I am interested in their stratigic partnership program, but its been a little less than week with no response. Any suggestions.
Anyways, I think Apple would be the perfect company to offer a photo fullfilment solution to their pro market. This would drive sales of Aperture, and beacuse of sales of Aperture, they could offer competative commisions fees, wholesale pricing, transaction fees, etc. Also, I would certainly rather have shipping slips co-branded by Apple if the shipping slips must be co-branded by the photo fullfilment service, than other services like digibug.
EDIT: Found it!

I didn't read your full post, but if you want something from apple, your better off asking them right here!
To be more acurate:

They are the only service that offers full site integration with no co-branding. Well -- I'm not bound to gallery2 by any means. It is nice, but it's not the end all and be all of online photo galleries.
Does anybody have any suggestions about other photo fullfilment services?
Also, can someone tell me a little but about EZprints policies... for example, how much commision they take, how their program works, what photo prints and gifts they offer, etc.
If anybodies interesting...this is my site I'm setting up:
http://www.imcgallery.com
It's not quite done...like the galllery and shopping cart/checkout -- thats the main thing that needs to be done. If anybody has any feedback -- please give it!
