I have been searching new egg for ram for the macbook and i found ram that seems too good to be true. Take a look at

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820150030

Can you see anything wrong with this?

Also, what is the "certified" mean. There is also http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820150050 for $5 less.

Thanks

Those modules aren't SO-DIMMs (the smaller, laptop form factor memory modules) - they won't fit in the MacBook.

    You need 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) for the macbook.

Here is what they are offering on newegg for SO-DIMMs

I think i am going to go with the transcend. I have never used their ram but i have had good luck with their CF cards

I just went from 512 to 2gigs in my black Macbook. It's much faster!!! Upgrade your memory now! You won't regret it!

my original plan was to just upgrade to 1 gig through apple. For one gig, it made sense to do it through them but then i decided that i wouldn't mind having some extra ram to speed everything up. Especially with the low prices these days.
