Ubuntu (6.06 DD) on VPC 7.02

Just wondering if anyone has had any joy setting up the intel version of Ubuntu 6.06 DD on VPC 7.02. I've tried it but it boots into a very odd video resolution that seems to confuse VPC and you can barely make out any text at all. Anyone else seen the same or go around it?

    I tried the same thing, and that happened, it was on such a low resolution that you couldn't see anything.



    I didn't try to hard to fix it, I just trashed it and gave up, I was only doing it to see if Ubuntu was any good.... still haven't found out

    Cool, thanks for that, I might give the PPC version a go just to have a look.

    Why can't you just use a PPC live CD?
