I'm going to buy a new mac soon. Is it better to buy it from the online apple store or at an actual store? For me, I am 10 minutes away from an Apple store. Does it make a difference as far as service/time/anything?

If you buy it in the store, you'll get it that day.
When I got my G5 (when they first came out three years ago) I went to the store, but they didn't have any in yet so they just sat with me while I ordered online.

I've heard that memory upgrades cost more at a store.
Well, you could always check by walking 10 feet and checking online.
