My dual 800 is a Quicksilver. What are the new Power Macs called? The most common name I have seen applied to them is butt-ugly, but isn't there something more official?

I've seen them referred to elsewhere as Icksilver, although I don't think they're THAT bad....

I dont know about anyone else, but i think their pretty cool. The cooling vents on the bottem make em' pretty slick looking. BTW, weren't some of these people that said 2 months ago "I dont care how the case looks as long as it has yadda yadda yadda." But now the problem is the case. Whatever.

Oh yeah. That's good. But I'd add 2002 to the end to avoid future confunsion since there will certainly be other PowerMac DDRs.

So PowerMac DDR 2002. Good thinking on the name.

That's not such a great name. Why not call it RDF generators or something else?

    Cyclops.

It kind of looks like a cyclops, in an ugly sort of way. Eye, big square nose and funky teeth.

    Cyclops.

I like "IckSilver" and "Cyclops" but when mine arrives next week, I think I'll name him Henry.

although there are two threads, this is what i added to the other thread about this

Sawtooth, Quicksilver...apple likes, and we have choosen one word names, not hypenated or long things to say. And with 2 being the magic number for this tower...

BiMac (almost fits with the 'i' hardware from apple)

BiSilver (almost fits with the 'i' hardware from apple)

    Deucie

You can tell i'm not an expert at this!

Yosemities revenge I like, but maybe Yosemitie2 or something of that nature, I would think of 2 being in there, and relating to a previous name maybe.
