Your iPod's Name?

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
I was thinking that I'm probably not the only one to name my iPods. I was curious what you call might have named them.

My 2G 10GB iPod was "White House" because of its color and the fact that it housed all of my music.

My 4G 40GB is "Galleria" for it's ability to hold large amounts of pictures.

My 5G 60GB is "Chez Noir" as a throwback to the first iPod's name and because it sounds cool.

Okay, so I'm a bit bored at work today...

I was really creative. I renamed my 60GB iPod photo "iPod60".

Well, at least I have "E pur si muove" engraved on the back.

You know, this reminds me... My iPod has been out in my car for a long time without getting synched up with my newest music. I should do something about that.

I named my the Chocolate Factory... The music is like candy... And I named my computers hard drive Willy Wonka... So they go together very nicely..

Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker...

"Bad Motherf*cker", for all those Pulp Fiction fans out there.

Ok not really... my iPods are:

Craig's mini and Craig's nano. Perhaps I should take my own suggestion though and give them better names.

I named my computer God so that a) it would show up on the network as god and b) when i lock someone's computer with remote desktop, it says "Screen Locked by God"

So, i found it fitting to call my iPod, "God's iPod"

No, I don't speak french and I didn't look it up. I did know that chez is house and noir is black. I also remember from 7th grade french class that a descriptor such as a color follows what it's describing. So it was more of putting the pieces of the language that I know -- which is very little -- together for the end result.

Very nice. It caught my attention because generally people that don't speak french don't know too much about the word "chez". Too bad you don't speak french, I was kind of hoping to find someone to talk to so that I could stay sharp over the summer.

naming iPods! course i do it all the time.

my 2nd Gen 10GB iPod was "sonic igloo" (and got stolen)

my 3rd Gen 15GB iPod was "rocketpod" (and i sold it)

my 2nd Gen 6GB blue iPod mini was "sonic grover" (sold it)

my 1GB iPod shuffle is "igloo2" (left it inside my jeans pocket and mom washed it. works as a 1GB flash memory USB drive, but iPod functionality is gone)

my 2GB iPod nano is "igloo3" (my only working iPod at the moment)

with the exception of the blue mini, all my iPods have been white-colored.
