    I always love to have organic Kettle Chips as a snack. They're the best potato chips ever.

    For snacks, beef jerky is really great. Needs to be soft though.

    Nothing like biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. And a nice bowl of grits with a litttle apple butter.

    Biscuits? And sausage gravy? How can you have biscuits for breakfast? Or is it an American thing? (Are we talkin cookies or something else, I'm confused).

    Anyway...

    * Spaghetti bolognese

    * Chicken in breadcrumbs, creamed corn, onion rings, potato wedges, cheesy mash, sour cream, etc.

    * Chilli, rice and Doritos

    * Pork and pickle pie

    * Cheese and onion crisps

    * Oranges

    * Lasagne

    * Any Italian dish that doesn't involve fish

    Can't argue with that one.

    My other favourite food is piragi - ground bacon and onion baked inside a pastry-ish bread. It's a Latvian food that my wife got me hooked on. I think the most I've eaten in one sitting is around 12. They're amazing.

    Yes, biscuits and gravy for breakfast is a Southern thing here in the US. A biscuit (bread, not cookie) is split open with sausage gravy (ground sausage and cream) poured on top.

    Sounds like a variation of the standard Eastern European staple, which depending on where you are is either called pirogi or verenek, at least when spelled phonetically.

    Most common filling is potato+cheese+onion. It's not uncommon to find bacon mixed in with the potato filling, but I've never had straight-bacon ones. Sounds like a great idea, though. My verenek eating days are mostly over, but I used to like to eat them lightly pan-fried with onions and garnished with salsa.

    Oh... it's a confusing situation between languages. Over here, biscuits are like cookies, digestives, rich tea, etc. I've just looked up biscuits on Wikipedia to see what your talking about, I understand now...

    Rare fillet steak with cream-garlic sauce and fresh tagliatelle.

    Sushi.

    Thai red curry chicken and rice.

    Malaysian style fried rice.

    Spaghetti alla carbonara.

    Spaghetti bolognese with own recipe.

    Blueberry and lingonberry pies with own recipe.

    It's mundane, but once in a while a good pizza really hits the spot, too. One of the best meals I've had in my life was pizza and champagne the morning after a particularly intensive May Day party.
