    I was hoping that there was more fixed and the download page would elaborate.

    thats not all that was changed... I noticed that the thumbnail sizing slider now works differently. Seems more linear in the sizing (ie. at halfway the picture size is now closer to half of fullscreen). before it used to be skewed to a smaller size over most of the range.
