Graphics Card on new G4's...

What kind of performance would I gain getting the Radeon 9000 over the entry GeForce4 MX on the new Powermac's? Would this gige my system an overall boost, or would it be mostly restricted to minor graphic-related things.

    ARW: I dont know but I pretty sure there preformance isnt that far apart but the graphics should be different. As far as a I know the 9000 should be only marginally better but again I know little about graphics cards.

    A 9000 Pro is only marginally better than a gf4mx and marginally worse than an 8500.

    However, it is technically far more advanced.

    programmable vertex + pixelshaders etc, plus superior graphics quality.
