projector keyboard to replace screen?
ok so its a slow work day but as I stare at my screen I was wondering...
Would a miniature rgb led projector built into a keyboard ever fly as a replacement for crt/lcd's in certain envionments. One less box meaning less expense.
I guess you would have to project a backgound white (depending on ambient light conditions) light and then overlay the actual display details so that it could be used on any surface. Coupled with something like the itech virtal keyboard build it all into the cpu and voila.
Failing that a mini projector in an ipod to show movies, gonna hurt the battery though I guess.
Or is this just the fevered rantings of somebody that should know better.
