When I get my iBook/iMac/eMac (I haven't decided fully yet), I'll be keeping my old iMac. For backup and mp3-serving. Plus to transfer my files over. And I love the little guy... I know I've got more than $250 of enjoyment/use left in it, since I've upgraded the RAM, VRAM, HD, case (stickers ), peripherals, software. If I wanted to I could even upgrade the CPU, get that griffin iPort, and upgrade the optical drive.. but that's more money than I'd ever spend on an old machine. So I digress.
I'll just save up a little longer, get the higher education individual discount, maybe possibly go refurbished, and order directly from the mothership rather than dealing with CUSA again.
