Can you install your PowerPC software on your new intel Mac?

I didn't think you could, but my mate told me you can install the PowerPC software on your intel Mac, it'll only just run slower than if it was previously on your IBM Mac.



Is this true? I ask because I just got my MacBook Pro and if it is I will be juicing it up tonight.

    Yes, it's true. You can install it, but peformace will take a slight speed hit.



    Some programs, like Audacity, an audio editor, will not run correctly, though.
