Looking for a label creator
My old man has just switched from PC to Mac, he is after a label creator can anyone suggest anything good?
On the PC he had the Avery AfterBurner Label maker, which did address labels, CD/DVD Labels, Jewel case inlays and covers, etc. Is there an app for Mac that will do the same and support all the new media.

I also like MyCoverCD as a good, light label creator. It's a snap to use and it's basic feature set is a joy to use.
Labelling CDs/DVDs manually can unbalance them and damage the drives or the media. Plus it takes longer to do. The Espon comes with Mac software designed for printing DVDs so it has a window with a DVD shape and you can drop images and text onto it in whatever design you want. The picture quality is very good and you can even curve text round the border of the DVD.
You can get this for about £60. I got it for £70 including delivery from dabs.com.
For standard labels, you can use the Epson too but you could go for a Dymo label maker:

They support Macs too and get quite good reviews. Again you are talking about £60-70.
