Chaning OS X Account name

Hi, I want to sell my powerbook g4 on eBay with all the software currently installed on it. Thus, I don't want to reformat, but would like to know how to change my default user account to log in to the computer. I've gone to sys prefs and changed the name to Admin, but the short name is still my full name. How do I fix this?

Thanks

logan

Here, this small program (script) will do it for you

As an aside, if you are not including the original discs for any extra commercial/paid software, ebay is likely to pull the auction

Another easier way is to create a new account - make it an admin and then delete your old account thus giving the new user fresh settings but all the old software.

Yeah, i confirm that. To OP: Don't risk a copyright infringement case.

They're fiercely look around these days. Particularily on eBay.

And don't tell us, nobody told you so.
