Veni. Vidi. Codi.
Hello from WWDC! I'm at the registration area leeching off the wireless access. There's nothing too interesting to see from here that hasn't already been mentioned. The conference shirt I got says "Veni. Vidi. Codi." on it. Anyone know what it means?
Here's some pics from my cameraphone.

I'll hope you're kidding and save people from similar embarassment with this handy-dandy link.
What camera is that?
It's a Sony Ericsson K750i. I accidentally knocked it off my desk pretty hard yesterday and it actually looks a bit fuzzy today!

I thought it might've been latin. Thanks!
Noticed some unfamilar icons on the banner-new Leopard or Mac features?
I took a good look at the banner, but there's nothing surprising on it. The interesting banners are usually on the second and third floors, but there's security personnel at the escalators and elevators.

Yeah, I just noticed I had missed that. Thought it was just a picture of the bag=P

It's a play on Caesar's "Veni, vidi, vici", which means "I came, I saw, I conquered". Apple's version is "I came, I saw, I coded" -- and since they've replaced "conquer" with "code", it would seem to imply that they think Leopard and Xcode have some pretty conquering, aka Vista-kicking, qualities.
More on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veni,_vidi,_vici
Seems like it's "something. live. code." in latin
Veni, vidi, vici
Translation: I CAME, I SAW, I CONQUERED! (attributed to Caesar) and somebody above ALREADY provided a link that would have explained all of this.
So this shirt would be a clever (clearly WAY TOO clever for many people) play on those words...
"I CAME, I SAW, I CODE"
If ya gotta explain this stuff it looses SO much.
Oh and here's a little tip, less xBox and more study okay?

Eh, I graduted college last year. I've ridded my mind of most stuff I no longer need to know. 8)
Seems like the AppleInsider crew didn't pay attention in history class.
I linked to Wikipedia's article on it, what more did you want?
"Microsoft delivers platforms for synergistic partnerships enabling effective solutions"
I prefer Apple's approach.

Uh.... wow...
Veni. Vidi. Veni.
I came. I saw. I coded.
I can't believe it took more than 5 posts to figure that out. I could have told everyone that after my 1st week of Latin class....props to m01ety and hot cha
I think for a lot of devs it'll be...
Veni. Vidi. Veni.
haud pretium
Uh.... wow...
Hey, no one ever said I could spell. Spelling has never been my forte.
