ATI Radeon 9700 from PC to Mac?

Is there any reason other than the drivers that you can't use an ATI 9700 PC version in a Mac?



I was thinking that perhaps the drivers for the 9000 card could possibly work with the 9700.



Am I totaly off base thinking this?

    yes. you would also have to patch the firmware so that it would work with a mac.
