I know iChat is for this very thing, but what if you want to use a webcam with someone who's on a Windows based computer? AIM and MSN appear to be useless...

Edit: Yahoo Messenger works!

Skype works - I have tried it myself. You'll need the beta video version.

Skype is voice over IP (VoIP), and it also has text chat and recently added video. It is probably the most used VoIP program. The webpage is www.skype.com and the mac video beta can be found at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/24474

I actually just tried this the other night... the latest beta of Yahoo Messenger can communicate with Windows Live Messenger. The chat works but not video. Maybe that will be added later. Skype seemed to be much better video quality than Yahoo anyway.
