I am getting ready to launch a new podcast. I will likely use iWeb and GB for content creation. It will be a local church events show so not too big. I don't know jack about hosting. What do I need and who should I buy it from? Is .mac a good solution? Thanks for your help.

I don't know about .Mac's hosting, but over a year ago I switched my hosting to 1&1. I have sense set up a handful of websites through their hosting, including a church site I run which has a small podcast as well. Their price is really good and I have not ever had a problem with uptime. I would highly recomend them and I've been using various hosting services since about 2001.

I'd recommend bluehost.com. Great prices, tons of features.

I have to put my word in for netfirms.com. Not only does the plan offer two free domain registrations/year, it also offers a lot of bandwidth and space. The best thing though is that for a limited time, it is only $10/year. I have an account with them, and they offer a decent amount of features and a nice control panel.
