    Because it is an artist's rendition of what macrumors.com "source" told them it will look like and was probably put together before the new nano annoucement.



    As for what the "source" told MR, I really don't see the phone having a slide-down portion for the numeric keypad (too many moving external parts which is not very Apple IMO). I would say it will all be done with touch-screen.... if the thing even exists.

    no I could see a ipod phone that looks like a new ipod nano, only slider style.

    I wouldn't use a touchscreen... ( touchscreens aren't good for numeric pads )

    slider style would be better.
