Can't find this anywhere, but is the Mac Pro's drive bay SATA or PATA equipped?
It's PATA. But there are two unused SATA connectors on the motherboard. It's my assumption that these could be used for something like a blue-ray drive(s). Not sure that those are PATA or SATA, though.
Edit: I just looked at Sony's blu-ray offering and it is PATA. Maybe those extra connectors are just decoration.
