New Hard Drive--Format?

Hey all,

I just purchased and installed a new 320gb HD on my Mac Pro. I'll be using it for media, like music and DVDs, and I am wondering what the best volume format would be for that (between the 6 that Disk Utility gives you)...

thanks!

HFS+ Journaled. Usually you'd consider something else if you had to share with PCs. But since Macs only read/write to ms-dos, which has a 4GB file size limit, it's no good for storing movies anyway. UFS is for the likes of Linux. I think there are tools for Windows to use UFS but I don't think it has native support. Macdrive can be used on Windows to read HFS so it's still the best format to use.

Definitely journaled, it reduces filesystem corruption.
