some itv questions

Ok so I'm interested in itv but I have a couple of questions and was curious about what you guys think.



What is the USB port for? would I be able to hook up an external drive via usb to the itv and store movies, music, photos on there?



Second is there a format that I could convert all my dvd's to that would play back on itv sans menus and some quality of course.

    I can tell you right away that no one knows the answer to those questions. I'd bet, though, that you could convert DVDs to mp4 using Handbrake or similar, and that would work. We'll have to wait a few months to find out for sure.

    yeah for sure. I bet you could also convert to h.264. I'm just anxious to see the specs as I'm sure many of us are.

    No one outside Apple knows for sure, but I would suspect that it will allow for the connection of an external HDD or iPod.
