My Mac won't shut up!

Has anybody else encountered this problem with a Quicksilver G4? The little speaker thingy on the front of the computer keeps making a rythmic clicking noise. When I jimmy the network cable, sometimes that fixes it, but what would be causing the problem in the first place?

    maybe some sort of interference, like from another piece of equipment? the speakers on my PC make an awful sound every time my cellphone rings.



    i almost poked a hole in the speaker on the front of a new G4 at work, thinking it was a button.

    I've never had a problem with the speaker not shutting up. But Snief, what type of cell phone do you have? I have an SonyEricsson T68i, and it causes enough interference with my car stero to deafen you.
