If they are looking over your shoulder, you'd need a pretty limited viewing angle. Also, it wouldn't block it, just distort it so they'd see enough anyway.

EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS?!?!?!?! That is a waste of money. a rip off. 3M makes just what you are talking about. Search google under "Screen Privacy Filter" or "Computer privacy filter" or "3M screen privacy".
