ok, I have a locked dmg, presently in a legal battle with former employee, any way to crack the password, he is facing 7 years and has "forgotten" the password.

    Unlikely. AES-128 isn't easy to crack, and especially if he used a strong password.



    Try different words and phrases to guess, and Google for John the ripper.

    ok, i have JTR, got as far as number 8 cd src o enter the source file directory.

    thats where I am lost, think I can figure the rest out if I can get by that, any suggestions. Sorry I'm not to bright on this.
