Extensions questions
Hey guys, I have a problem.
I have a early 2006 Intel Mac Mini, with mac OS 10.4.7 installed
Now whenever I create a document, or install an application, the document/application always has to have the extension on it. Not just packages, even images and movies and text files. If it does'nt have a extension, the file doe'tn open, or the application apperes as a folder.
This problem is not the case on a freind's intel iMac, or my own mother's inel iMac, so I am sure that it is not a system 'feature'.
I have had this problem through updates from 10.4.5 to 10.4.6 and to 10.4.7
I have the developer tools installed, in case that is causing it.
this is more of an annoyance reall, but i would like some help.
thanks!
