damnit, steve totally ripped off my idea for luminescent paint on the keys lit with the extra light from the backlight.

i'm expecting a 12" or 17" PB in compensation for the borrowing of my IP.

    Your idea?!

just over 3 yrs ago I submitted this idea of having backlit keys and/or glow in the dark type keys.

I submitted forms and forms to IBM, Apple, MacAlly, a few more.

Each one said it wouldn't be feasible and would cost too much.

perfect idea for gamers and late nite workers

i would have used the smilee with crying eyes..but didnt see it

would be nice for any keyboard, not just the powrebook laptop, maybe we can see this in future revisions

...what do you expect, compensation for that idea? if it is indeed urs, apple has a policy on that stuff basically "if you show them, its theirs to do with as they please"

I would love that on my keyboard for my desktop, the only reason I need my light on at night is because there's those few keys I always miss.

Um, I think he was joking. But he should be compensated and so should I for backing him up.

as predicted .....the airport antenna wound up

    in the screen .....

my first & only 1100% accurate prediction

btw dual laptops are still a distinct possibility

now why didnt they make the keyboard bigger in the

17" powerbook or atleast make the arrow keys a

    bit bigger ??

seems like a really dumb omission

Probably more to do with sharing parts with the other models ... having it's own special keyboard would probably be an unjustified expense... especially since they are going to now need NEW insentives for people to upgrade in the future.
