I did a search and did not find the answer to this question of how the hell OSX can perform the simple name, password, channel settings etc., on the Linksys wireless routers. I have Linksys model BEFW11S4.

Thanks!
Isn't it from a browser, connected to http://192.168.1.1 ?

That's how I do it with my Linksys router.

It crashed my browser on my Intel MacBook. I'll try it on my desktop G5.
Try another browser (I use OnmiWeb)
I have found that Safari does not work on 192.186.1.1
That's because LinkSys routers are at 192.168.1.1
I get:
"401 Unauthorized
Authorization required."
when using Safari
