visionOS 26 at WWDC rumored to have a big emphasis on gaming
One thing that wasn't mentioned was the fact that Apple is actively helping out with Godot. For those who do not know, Godot is an open-source game engine that can do 3D and 2D games on it, and has a relatively easy to use interface. Apple has recently did a PR request on it to have visionOS as a part of Godot's systems that are supported. I would say that this is a major indicator that Apple wants to position visionOS as a true gaming system that has the hardware and software to support it. -

Nintendo might build hardware controllers for iPhone and iPad
moreck said:I hope this is true! I've been saying for a long time that Nintendo should do this. It's a smart way to keep their brand relevant. They could release their old-school "Virtual Console" games on iOS, but make it so they only work with their controllers. Some people might balk at this, but the fact is that foisting controller-based games onto a touch interface is terrible. Since Nintendo values the customer experience as highly as Apple, forcing people to use their controllers will ensure a consistently solid playing experience.
