Congrats Tyler! Sounds like an substantial upgrade. Thanks for sharing. I hope you capture some incredible pictures with the impressive camera setup. Try this: open the camera app at nighttime in the house, leave it on 1x and walk into an almost pitch black room (like a bathroom or closet with with no light on and just a sliver of light leaking in from a distant room) the viewfinder will give you superhero vision with the Night mode. It’s kinda a trippy thing to experience.

I was hoping the iPhone SE could adopt the chassis of the iPhone 12 mini. That way Apple can keep a small form factor available to customers that’s can’t be without it. 

Wonder what departments will be expanding? And what positions Apple will hiring. Especially considering the hiring freeze or how Tim referred to it as “still hiring but doing so on a deliberate basis.”

An easy win for consumers and Apple would be to repurpose the iPhone 13 mini chassis for the next gen SE.

Thank you for the information. I didn’t intend you to do my work. I imagine that nearly 100% of tech readership under 65 years of age are handy with simply internet search, and that it would have been easier for me to use google or whatever search engine to get my answer. I should have been more direct to my point, but the author ought to included individual pricing when broaching the topic of pricing. That’s all

So the Intel Macs made it on the list of compatibility. but how do we know next year at dubdub we won’t see intel macs back on the list? (sorry if my reading comprehension missed it)

Added as a feature to the native Camera app? Meh. Should be a standalone app, IMO.

I don't yet understand how AR relates to taking picture or capturing video? That is unless the AR in Camera app is cosmetical, for novelty, whereas a navigation AR feature, like the patent illustration shown in the article, would certainly not reside in the Camera app, I'd imagine.
