I've been using HomeKit exclusively for some years now. But there are too many capabilities and too many devices which escape HomeKit and Siri.

I'm going to have to begin shifting away from HomeKit and toward Alexa just to be able to fully utilize many of the capabilities of the devices I already own.

Their greed for short term gain ended up hurting America's manufacturing future and self reliance.I love Apple's software and hardware . I switched from PCs years ago, but Apple lacked vision when it came to setting up significant manufacturing capabilities in China. Now Apple, their investors, and customers will has to pay for this error in judgement. It had to come sooner or later. China's misbehavior on the international scene is only getting worse over time. The US government and the population as a whole is finally waking up to face the music.
