  • We tried Tesla's wireless charger -- but we can't show you

As for an Apple users like myself, since "Apple devices can still(?) [only] charge up to 7.5W per device. Android devices -- or select other Qi devices -- can handle up to 15W of power" means the device is pretty much a Fail. It is MagSafe compatible not truly MagSafe. There are better options than this.
"The MagSafe Charger makes wireless charging a snap. The perfectly aligned magnets attach to your iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro and provide faster wireless charging up to 15W."

I definitely wouldn’t call it a flop. The reality is. Not everyone has an iPhone, or one that supports MagSafe. MagSafe also only charges at 15W at its peak — not over the entire process. This charges the phone within 30 minutes of a MagSafe charger. Especially if using overnight, won’t matter. MagSafe still requires you to place on the magnet while this lets you go anywhere. Some prefer one, some the other.

  • Review: Belkin BoostCharge Pro Wireless Car Charger with MagSafe delivers the juice

$100? My car came with a wireless charger. Not as fast, but it charges the entire time the phone is in the car, using Apple CarPlay. When I get where I'm going, it's charged up. In a couple years, all but the lowest entry level vehicles will have built-in wireless chargers. And the people buying those aren't going to spend $100 when the phone comes with a USB cable at no extra "charge."
At MOST, those chargers are 7.5W for your phone but they also  don’t allow you to see your phone while you’re driving. Personally, I love having CarPlay with the map on the screen and my iPhone will show the list of upcoming directions. Safe while driving and you knew what was coming up. With this, you get the benefit of a convenient stand and at least twice the charging speed for your phone. My in-car Qi charger is very very slow so I will happily use this. But I get it isn’t for everyone.

Never heard of xBloom before, so had to look it up. As a highly satisfied AeroPress user for over a decade, AeroPress seems much more environmentally responsible, much cheaper to use, and more customizable than xBloom, while being portable and having a far lower barrier to entry.
I love AeroPress for sure. it's extremely popular for a reason! I have a Fellow French press that I use and take with me xBloom is super environmentally friendly though. No metal or plastic pods. You only have an easily compostable coffee filter. Which, FWIW, I toss in my Lomi and it gets used in the garden each spring!

I don't mean to be a dick, but I don't understand how you give a new product "5 out of 5 stars" when it's incompatible with every Macbook* released in the last three years.

(*by "macbook", I mean the modern ecosystem including Macbooks, Macbook chargers and high-speed iOS chargers)

    USB-C or GTFO
Very simply Eric, third-party USB-C Lightning cords don’t exist. Apple doesn’t allow them. They are working within the constraints posed by Apple. Had that been allowed, they assuredly would have done that. As far as what Apple allows, there is nothing I’d want different on this cable.
